In August 2025, a craving for Karwari Khaja sparked an unexpected idea.
Working in the corporate world in Bengaluru, our founder wondered why the flavours we grow up loving are so often hard to find once we move away from home.
The more we thought about it, the clearer it became that Karwari Khaja was just the beginning. All along India's coastline, countless little food treasures — traditional snacks, pickles, papads, laddoos, halwas and regional cashews — carry memories, traditions and the taste of home.
And so, Coastal Caravan was born.
Our mission is to discover these coastal gems and bring them to doorsteps across India — reconnecting people with familiar flavours, and inviting everyone else to discover something wonderfully new.
Because sometimes, all it takes is one bite to feel at home again.
